While studying for a degree in ceramics at London's Royal College of Art (RCA), Lindy won the Leeds Pottery Competition. The prize money helped her to establish her own studio and shortly after graduating from the RCA with a masters, her work was selected for The Design Centre, the inaugural (and subsequent) Chelsea Craft Fair and the Best of British exhibition. She went on to make pots for numerous galleries; also for private clients and retailers including Sir Hardy Amies, Sir Hugh Casson, Sir Roger de Grey, The Conran Shop, The General Trading Company, and Bergdorf Goodman and Marshall Field's in the USA.
Her work has featured in many publications and was also the subject of a documentary shown on Channel 4 and ITV.
Lindy has drawn and painted
throughout her career and she is now working exclusively in these fields.
